Our retreats have a focus on Buddhism, nature and the arts. We provide nutritious vegan food for all meals. Lots of the veg is grown on site. Each retreat includes spacious time to explore our 52 acres of ancient woodland.
Everything at Alfoxton runs on dana (generosity), meaning we only ask for a booking fee to secure your place. At the end of your retreat, there will be an opportunity to support Alfoxton with a further expression of financial generosity.

Meditation can have a huge effect on our emotional states, stress levels, clarity of mind and relationships with others. In our classes, held in Holford Village Hall, members of the Alfoxton community teach a variety of meditation techniques centred around mindfulness of breathing and loving kindness.
