I am a Teaching and Scholarship (T&S) Lecturer in the Department of Economics, SoSS T&L Development Lead, and Programme Co-Director of the BSc Economics degree.

In 2023 I was made an Associate of the Economics Network, an academic organisation devoted to improving the teaching and learning of economics in universities. I am also an organiser of the Northern Economics Network a regional offshoot of the Economics Network to foster greater collaboration between economics academics in the North of England.
