12/14/23 - Recording of my DEBUT ALBUM HAS STARTED!!! Expected to release late spring 2024, my debut album will feature re-records of some previously released songs (Drowning, Keep the Kids Safe, Together, and Feel the Same) and more! 9/29/23 - The Story of the song "Keep the Kids Safe": This song was a project for my Government class. We were tasked with making or doing somthing to spread awareness around a topic we were passionate about. I picked Adoption and Foster Care. My little siblings are adopted and before we started to foster them we use to foster quite a few children and it was really cool! I think Adoption and Foster Care is a wonderful way to grow a family and provide for a child in need. The problems within the system though is no set requirements/systems in the different agencies which can make every experience different or change the length or difficulty of the process. Focus on placement with Kin, or best fit also needs to happen to ensure every kid is okay in their new home, because some foster homes can be abusive to the kids and can cause more trauma to the child. People need to also be educated as to why children are in foster homes cause some people may think "all foster children are juvenile delinquents" when that is far from the truth. This song is super special to me and I hope you guys like it!
