I am a PhD student in Political Science at Binghamton University.
My research connects questions of organizational political culture in conflict settings, namely how individuals and groups construct political cultures and how and why those cultures continue to exist and operate, with an eye toward how those movement cultures, particularly white nationalists, challenge contemporary states. This nexus between culture and conflict, particularly regarding forms of control and domination, shapes all of my work, both Research and Teaching. You can find my CV here.
I can be reached at aperdue2 [at] binghamton [dot] edu for questions, comments, or concerns about my academic work, or for chats about South Carolina Gamecocks athletics, life with autism spectrum disorder in academia, jazz music, or travel tips in the greater Roanoke region.
