Hello! I am a freelance health and science communicator based in the Pacific Northwest. I'm always interested in opportunities that turn data into compelling narratives. I have used data analysis software (R and Stata) to transform surveys and health datasets into a variety of engaging materials ranging from technical reports, executive summaries, guest columns, feature articles, press releases, and animations.
Research Experience
In my role as research associate at Johns Hopkins University, I primarily focused on projects at the intersection of behavioral science, health communication, and infectious disease prevention. To see a selection of my peer-reviewed publications, please see my Google Scholar Profile and my Portfolio.
Education
I completed a Master of Public Health at the OHSU-PSU School of Public Health in Portland, Oregon. I'm interested in mixed-methods in public health research, evidence-based policy implementation, social epidemiology, and data visualization for health promotion.
I received a double-major in neuroscience and English at Oberlin College.
