I am a PhD student in the Department of Mathematics at University College London, in the group of Dr. Benjamin Walker and Prof. Karen Page. Before that, I worked in industry as an energy systems modeller at Aurora Energy Research. I got my MSc in Applied Mathematics at the University of Oxford and a BSc in Mathematics and Physics at École Polytechnique.
My research is in the field of mathematical biology: I use mathematical modelling, in close collaboration with experimental biologists, to investigate biological and biomedical systems.
My PhD research focuses on two separate topics.
First, I develop and analyse mathematical and computational models that describe T-cell migration and interactions with cancer cells. I work in close collaboration with biologists from NexTGen, a team of Cancer Grand Challenges to compare model predictions with experimental data, to gain insights into the features that enhance T-cell effectiveness.
Second, I use mathematical models to investigate hormone transport in plants. I use multiscale methods to derive simple equations which encapsulates the biologically relevant dynamics of more complicated models.
In my research, I mainly use ODEs, PDEs and stochastic methods.
