Back in the 1950's, this building was originally a skating rink.  Our banquet room floor still has part of the original flooring. The original ceiling is also still intact but covered by new ceiling.

Skateland Roller Palace was designated as "Indiana's most beautiful skating rink".  The disco ball is also part of the original building.

In the northwest corner of the banquet room where the current fountain is located used to be a large pipe organ which was billed as the "largest in the world".

This building was constructed by Joe Mesalam who also built and operated Norwood Bowl which sits south of the Aerie home.
