Alexander D. Perry, M.S

Hello!

I am a second-year Ph.D. student in cognitive psychology at Iowa State University. My research interests are in moral cognition and decision-making, and I currently apply these cognitive mechanisms to improve legal policies and procedures (e.g., police interviewing tactics and juror decision-making). Specifically, I investigate outcomes that can lead to more ethical and just experiences for those involved in the legal system. I am originally from Miami, Florida, where I completed my B. A at Florida International University, double-majoring in Psychology and Interdisciplinary Studies, also completing a minor in Criminal Justice. I completed my M.S. in Experimental Psychology from Nova Southeastern University.
