(2021)

This project is the cover for an upcoming EP by a Canadian music producer by the name of "Sixtroke". He commissioned me to create an album cover and accompanying motion graphic piece below for promotional purposes.

purple cube

(2020)

The goal in mind for this project was to create an object that could spin and morph from a sphere into a cube. While doing this I was learning how to shade and texture objects in Blender.

Orion Industrial Weaponry

(2020)

This was a world building exercise for an idea that I had been sitting on for 3 years prior to finishing. This piece took various forms over the creation period. Originally it was pieced together in InDesign with a Japanese text patterned background and having full colour. Eventually I settled on creating a feeling that the piece was photocopied numerous times before being handed out to a passerby.

Second Annual Bumble Fest Poster

(2019)

This has gone from a one time joke into a full project that mirrors Rocket Leagues in game seasons.

Bumble Fest Poster

(2018)

One night I was playing Rocket League with a friend and while doing so we were playing extremely poorly which lead to my friend claiming "What a bumble fest!" in regards to our performance. Immediately I thought of how fun it would be to create a poster for such an event. I first went about how to translate this from a joke to a full poster. I originally started with a sketch of the car with the exhaust and the information at the top. I then proceeded to put that idea together and as I progressed the other parts came together as I needed something to balance the sides of the page: the ball, the other car, the diamonds. The last change that was made was the outline on "Inaugural". Originally I had it was plain white text, but after cutting out the middle diamond I realized yellow complimented the pink really well. So as a joke originally I put "inaugural" in those colours, but it turned out it finished off the poster perfectly.

Geisha

(2018)

This idea came to me in a bizarre dream. I was in a soap store but they also had fabrics hanging on the walls that they advertised that they could use to make specifically bicycle jerseys and bibs with. On one of the "featured" fabrics was a geisha figure with stripes that had caught my eye, but before long I was awake. Upon trying out what I had seen in my dream I slowly realized that it looked terrible, but the geisha idea had stuck with me as vivid as a weird dream can stick with you.

Deer God

(2018)

Wanting to do something cool with a deer I struggled to figure out how to successfully achieve that. After several attempts to make something decent I finally resorted to just making a silhouette of the deer image I found. Once the silhouette was complete my idea struck me and what followed was this image.

Eames Lounge Chair Poster

(2018)

Fictional poster created for the Eames Lounge Chair. The chair is very inspirational to myself, so I decided to make an advertising poster for it, not that it needs one.

Vexillology in One Line

(2018)

The following 3 images were inspired by a Reddit post I had found that I thought was an interesting idea. The original post was the American Flag designed with one continuous line.

The 3 flags in order are Canada, Australia, and Chicago.

Crispy Beasts Festival Poster

(2017)

Festival poster for a festival I made up. This idea originated when I wanted to try making a toaster in an isometric view, and from there the idea started taking shape. Once finished with the toaster I started changing the background colours to fill it in better and realized it would make a great center piece for a poster. The band names are references to things that were either around me at the time or pieces of media I enjoy.

Low Poly Skull

(2017)

I had this idea while working on a project for a client that was based in Arizona. As its a desert I imagined they typical bovine skull in the sand. At the same time I was interested in Low Polygonal styled designs and figured I would try my own hand at that style.

Fragments Short Film Poster

(2013)

This was a high school project for a Media Arts class I was taking at the time. We were tasked with making a film poster, but I had decided to create a poster for a short film I was working on in a different class at the time.
