About me
I am a graduate of the Athens University of Economics and Business (BSc in International & European Economic Studies, 1998). I have MSc in Business Finance and PhD in Financial Economics from Brunel University. I joined Essex Business School in 2016, having previously worked at the University of Glasgow (2005-2016) and Brunel University (2003-2005). I have served as Head of the Finance Group at EBS (2017-2021). I have published more than forty articles in peer-reviewed journals, including the Journal of Money Credit and Banking, the Review of Asset Pricing Studies and the British Journal of Management. I have also acted as research consultant for the European Commission, the European Central Bank, and the Bank of Finland.
