Welcome to my website!
My research interests lie in two different distinct fields.
The first is environmental economics. I study how public policy and civil society shape the environmental choices of firms and farmers. My recent work examines NGO campaigns and climate litigation as forms of private politics, and how they interact with climate regulation. The second is political economy. Institutions play a key role in how efficiently resources are allocated. I study the consequences of structural and institutional change, as well as the incentives and ability of elected representatives to promote general welfare.
