Alexandra Zeppeiro is a dedicated and accomplished undergraduate student at Howard University, pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy with minors in African American Studies. She has demonstrated academic excellence through her coursework, which includes significant studies in feminist philosophy, Black social-political thought, and metaphysics. Alexandra's commitment to research is evident in her role as a Moorland-Spingarn Research Center Scholar, where she engages in archival research focused on the African Diaspora and Black intellectual traditions.
Her impressive research experience includes internships with the Intra-American Slave Trade Database and the Reproductive Justice Cohort at My Sister’s Keeper, where she centers her work on the experiences of marginalized communities. As a Mellon Mays Undergraduate Research Fellow, Alexandra develops original projects that critically examine the intersections of race, gender, and philosophy.
In addition to her research endeavors, Alexandra holds leadership positions as President of Ubiquity Incorporated at Howard University and Editor-in-Chief of the Howard University Journal of Philosophy. Her involvement in various professional organizations reflects her dedication to advocacy and community engagement.
Fluent in Spanish and with proficiency in Kiswahili and German, Alexandra is committed to fostering dialogue around Africana scholarship and cultural identity.
