I offer private voice lessons to singers of all ages, levels, voice types, and styles. Lessons are focused on technical aspects of singing, maintenance of vocal health, and working with the mind, body, and voice as a unit. I draw from my experiences as an opera singer, graduate voice clinician, voice researcher, and meditation practitioner to bring out each student's uniquely beautiful instrument.
I am a speech-language pathologist (pre-certification), voice teacher, and professional opera singer. I have had 18 years of vocal training and received my post-graduate education at the Academy of Vocal Arts (AVA) in Philadelphia. I have 2 years of education and experience in clinical settings treating disordered voices and 5 years of experience as a voice teacher. I welcome transgender and gender diverse students, and I have some experience working on voice training for gender expression. I have also been a mindfulness practitioner for 10 years, and these awareness practices are reflected in my teaching. I am eager to pass on my expertise to my students!
