I am a PhD candidate in Economics at Uppsala University. My supervisors are Luca Repetto and Eva Mörk. I am also affiliated with the Uppsala Immigration Lab (UIL) and the Uppsala History of Inequality and Labor Lab (UHILL).

In spring 2025, I visited Harvard Business School, hosted by Marco Tabellini.

I am an applied microeconomist working on topics in political economy, economic development, and the economics of education, often drawing on historical data. I am particularly interested in questions concerning national identity and intergroup relations.

I am on the 2026/27 academic job market.
