I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Tufts University in May 2019 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and a minor in Engineering Education. At Tufts, I discovered I had a love for robotics. Working at the intersection of mechanical, electrical, and software engineering was compelling - it meant I would always be learning something new, and I would always be meeting new people (plus, robots are just very cool). After graduating, I interned at iRobot, then worked at the warehouse robotics company AutoStore before returning to iRobot in June 2022.
For the last two years, I have worked at Cala Systems on a different type of electro-mechanical product: an intelligent heat pump water heater. Working at a startup has allowed me to work in all aspects of product development: RND, prototyping, performance and reliability testing, DFM, and then working with our manufacturing line in Massachussetts to optimize and automate assembly processes.
I have proven success leveraging mechanical, technical, and operational skills to contribute to technical innovation, new product development, and parts manufacturing for global organizations. I am a strong technical partner on any project who develops productive relationships and collaborates well with cross-functional teams. I thrive in environments where there are opportunities for learning and professional growth, and am passionate about engineering and solving challenges. Peers frequently comment on my outgoing, enthusiastic nature, and I am a driven contributor to company culture and continuous improvement processes.
