Alexander P. Hansak

Welcome to my personal website. I am a Post-Doctoral Researcher at University of Graz. 

I obtained my PhD in Economics at the Vienna Graduate School of Economics in 2023 under the supervision of Michael Reiter and Alejandro Cuñat. 

I am a quantitative macroeconomist working at the intersection of macroeconomics, public economics, labor economics, and household finance.

My research uses computational heterogeneous-agent models, typically in general equilibrium, to study how heterogeneity, market frictions, technological change, and economic policy shape aggregate outcomes, inequality, and welfare.
