Career Goal Narritive

The branch I am going to pursue as a career in the future is the Navy. I am going to be in this branch because my dad and in multiple generations of my lineage have been in the Navy. This also would be leading into my career path of being a nuclear engineer in the navy working on ships. I decided this career path was good for me because when I got accepted into the tech center I realized they get lots of benefits and get paid well. 

The classes that will help me out in this field will definitely be science classes like physics. Then the other classes that may help are my AP classes like AP history because they are set in a  professional setting with loads of work. The program of studies that have helped me in my future career include math because they taught me the answer isn't easy to get but rewarding when correct. I have learned a lot from my AP classes about being on time and having a good outlook when things aren't going my way. 

I have participated in extracurricular activities like soccer, boy scouts, and tennis. It taught me to be resilient in pursuit of greatness and to try things all the time for any reason, it never hurts. Soccer builds up my stamina and endurance while tennis helps with hand eye coordination. Currently I've never been employed though that will change. I think I will learn how to build connections in the workplace.

After graduating high school I will take a year to get money for college by getting a job somewhere. Then I will get a 4 year degree in engineering or something else in engineering. After achieving all of that I would like to join the military to get in the Navy so I can get paid after being a student. My plan may change If I find money easily, I may just try to go to college if that were to happen. My main plan is set in stone for me at least because I've found my passion and it pays well. 

After achieving my career goal I think I will affect my community I live in positively. I'll likely have time to volunteer and donate to the community my time in order to help my peers and future generations. I think the impact I will have in the world as a whole won't be too big though I do plan on helping locally. I think I definitely will have a positive impact on the world because being a good citizen is half of it you also should give back and that's what I plan on doing in the future as well.
