Life studies... and perhaps a few photo studies.
Right image - My hands were freezing because it was a winter sunrise by the ocean.
I was illegibly writing about how the waves of the ocean looked from first hand experience.
Left image - Christmas at my workplace is always very quiet. I sometimes look around to see what to draw and managed to capture my receipt machine as well as the corner of my cash register.
Right Image - Just a Pinterest reference, however i am surprised with the rare cases that i manage to proportionally copy down everything. I usually make something a bit too big or small :)
Below Image - Drawing of my bath I took after a freezing day. I'm not sure why i had my sketchbook, but I now carry one if I want to capture present moments like this.
