Alexa was a student at MCLA from 2021-2024 with a major in Sociology and minors in Social Work, Anthropology, Gender and Sexuality studies, Health and Society, and Cross Cultural Social Justice studies.

From 2018-2025, Alexa held many positions at the ROOTS Teen Center, and learned skills such as fundraising, advocacy, community engagement and leadership skills. Alexa has advocated for youth, a walkable city and transparency. Alexa wants to grow our city while keeping locals feeling supported and tourists supporting our community.
