We treat every vehicle with the utmost care, treating every car like our own. However, we are not responsible for any mechanical or electrical issues that fail unexpectedly during the detailing process. This includes, but is not limited to: window malfunctions, electrical door components, dead batteries, seat malfunctions, screen/display failures, etc.
Upon vehicle check-in, customers are required to infrom us of any existing damage or components that are already broken or beginning to fail. We will take extra caution in these areas during the detailing process. If we discover damaged or defective materials while cleaning, we may limit or avoid cleaning that area to prevent further damage. The customer will be notified accordingly.
Customers must remove all personal belongings from the vehicle before their appointment. Alex The Detailer is not liable for any lost or damaged items. Glove compartments and center consoles must be emptied prior to service. These areas will not be cleaned if items are left inside. Additional charges will apply if we need to remove personal items before starting work.
A surcharge may apply for excessive interior accessories such as seat covers, cupholders inserts, hanging organizers, baby mirrors, etc.
Car seats must be removed before the appointment. For liability reasons, we do not uninstall or reinstall child car seats.
Alex The detailer is not responsible for any existing damage including dents, scratches, rock chips, paint defects, or damage to paint protection film (PPF), wraps, or aftermarket parts. We do not assume responsibility for any damage to PPF, coatings or wraps that may occur during the washing. Customers should notify us in advance if their vehicle has protective coatings or films.
Vehicles with aftermarket window tint, we clean glass surfaces gently to avoid abrasive tools. We are not responsible for any tint damage, including lifting or peeling.
We only clean the sunroof's glass while it's closed, we do not detail inside sunroof tracks. We are not liable for damage to decorative items such as emblems, trim, roof racks, or similar components that may occur during standard cleaning.
