Differential equations are important in pure math and applications. We will study ordinary differential equations from both a quantitative and qualitative point of view. The concept of linearity will be a key idea for both solving and understanding the nature of solutions to differential equations. Concepts from linear algebra will be introduced to help us study systems of differential equations as well as higher-order and nonlinear differential equations. This class will use a traditional lecture style format.
