Profile Summary: I am deeply passionate about pursuing a career in biomedical sciences, with a particular focus on researching infectious diseases. My specific areas of interest include understanding bacterial mechanisms of infection, including bacterial pathogenesis and host-bacteria interactions, as well as identifying novel drug targets within the host immune system.

I am dedicated to making discoveries that could pave the way for innovative therapeutics, such as host-directed therapies and immunotherapies, to combat drug-resistant infections. Currently, I serve as a Research Assistant at the Department of Medical Microbiology, University of Ghana Medical School, where I work on high-impact projects ranging from antimicrobial resistance (AMR) surveillance to genomic epidemiology.
