Goal: Move a local retail dataset into Azure SQL and connect it to BI tools.
What I did:
Built a structured schema for customers, transactions, and product categories
Uploaded cleaned datasets into Azure SQL
Connected Power BI to Azure SQL for automated refresh
Improved performance using incremental refresh and partitioning
Outcome:
A scalable cloud database supporting real‑time reporting and faster refresh cycles.
