I am a PhD candidate in Economics at the Federal University of Paraíba (UFPB) and have a Master's degree in Applied Economics from UERN. I am currently a CAPES scholarship holder. My main research interests are the Economics of Education, Public Policy, and Applied Microeconometrics. I am a researcher at the Laboratory of Economics and Public Policy Evaluation at UFPB.

The effects of trade liberalization on education in the short and long term
This study documents that trade liberalization can influence individuals' decisions to invest in human capital. Using an approach of estimating changes in regional tariffs in the 1990s to compare regions most exposed to tariff reductions with less exposed regions, exploring high-skill and low-skill individuals.
