Hi, I'm Alessio Mitra, Economist at the European Commission. I received my PhD in Economics from the University of Kent in 2023.
I am passionate about applied econometrics, policy evaluation and the use of economic theory to tackle real world issues.
I firmly believe in data-driven policy making as the cornerstone to effective governance, ultimately leading to a more resilient, fair, and prosperous society.
