Welcome to my webpage!

I am a Lecturer in Applied Economics at the Utrecht University School of Economics. Here, I teach at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, and pursue my research agenda in health and development economics. 

I completed my PhD in Economics in June 2026 at the Paris School of Economics (PSE) and Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. I financed the fourth year of my PhD through a Research and Teaching Fellowship (ATER) at Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne.

My research seeks to better understand the link between female education and malnutrition trends in a globalized world. I focus on dietary transitions and food system transformations, as well as their impact on human health and associated economic costs.
