My City

Salerno is my hometown, an enchanting place where the sea meets the mountains. Cradle of the historic Scuola Medica Salernitana and the renowned Minerva Gardens, it preserves a living heritage of medieval medical and botanical knowledge in its old town alleys. It boasts unique folk traditions, such as the celebration of the patron saint, Matteo, and the reenactment of the Fiera del Crocifisso, alongside modern events like Luci d’Artista. Nestled between the Cilento and Amalfi Coasts and serving as the capital of one of Italy’s largest provinces, the city is steadily growing in tourism and innovation.
