I am a research fellow at the WZB Berlin Social Science Center, the Einstein Center Population Diversity, and the Free University Berlin. I hold a PhD in Social and Political Sciences from the European University Institute (EUI) and I have worked as a consultant for the at the Directorate of Education and Skills of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD). 

My main research interests are: social stratification, migration, social demography, health inequalities,  sociology of education, and quantitative methods. 

My work has been published in leading peer-reviewed journals including the European Sociological Review, the Journal of Ethnic and Migration Studies, the Journal of Marriage and Family, Nature Scientific Reports, Population Development Review, Population Studies, Social Forces, and Social Science and Medicine.
