Alessandro Barone

About Me

Welcome! I am a Postdoctoral Researcher at University Campus Bio-Medico of Rome, Italy, working on mathematical modeling and simulation of cardiac electrophysiology. I grew up in Chieti, small town in Abruzzo, Italy, and attended Politecnico di Milano for my bachelor and master degrees in Mathematical Engineering. Then, I strengthen my background in scientific computing and numerical simulations acquiring a PhD degree in Mathematics from Emory University. See the Research tab for more details.

In my spare time, I enjoy hanging out with friends, salsa dancing, playing tennis, hiking and reading.
