In order for the bot to collect information from your team it needs an API key from you or member of your team. The WD Alert bot uses only the public API provided by PG so it is perfectly legit and safe to use.

The API key gives the bot read-only access to Atlas information for you and your team. This infomation includes:

• Team battles (same as battle log in Atlas)

• Team contribution (same as Contribution in Atlas)

• Team troop count (same as Contribution in Atlas)

• Team member Atlas event score (last 20)

And rememer - you can revoke that key at any time!

1. Copy the bot App ID (full text - you will need to paste it in game)

2. Launch War Dragons

3. Go to settings->Forums and More->App Management and enter the App ID (or paste it)

4. Tap "Authorize App". This will generate an API Key. Copy the key and make a screen shot to be safe.

If signing up for the first time:

5. Submit the API key using the signup form.

If adding api key to bot you already have:

6. Go to your Telegram Bot group and add the key using /admin command:
   /a api add apikey-xxxxxxxxxxx

7. Wait 30 seconds and then check your bot status and alert delay:
   /a api status
