Doctor of Science in the specialty of Natural Resources and Sustainable Management from the University of Córdoba (2015). My main research interests lie in the behavioral and evolutionary ecology areas with different bird species as models. My research mostly focuses on proximate mechanisms subject to sexual and natural selection processes, such as parent-offspring conflict, sex allocation theory and life-history evolution. I am currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physiology (Veterinary School) at the Complutense University of Madrid.
