Alejandrita (aka Alex) is a Black and Chilean American artist with a love of all things magical and imaginative. She creates art using many different mediums such as gouache, ink, pencil, charcoal, watercolor, digital illustration, embroidery, clay, jewelry and tattooing.

Alejandrita's art is inspired by nature, magic, mysticism, astrology, nostalgia, spirituality and finding the light in the dark. She seeks to make everyone feel comfortable, safe and at home in her presence especially whilst being tattooed. She believes tattooing should be a safe space for everyone.

When she isn't tattooing or making art you can find her at the beach, singing, dancing, playing guitar or piano, baking, reading, talking to the trees or keeping up on the latest atrological news.
