I am a PhD candidate in Economics at Lancaster University, where I also completed an MSc in Economics. I hold a BA in Economics from Universidad de Piura in Peru.
My research lies at the intersection of development economics, human capital formation, and the long-term effects of adversity. I study how conflict, health, and social shocks shape the accumulation of human capital across generations, with a particular focus on children and adolescents. My work combines rigorous econometric methods with large-scale survey and administrative data to generate policy-relevant evidence on education, health, fertility, and labor outcomes in low- and middle-income settings.
