AlectroSpace was formed in August 2019 by our Founder and CEO, Alec Griffiths. Here at AlectroSpace we build and launch our own rocket designs, although we also launch many rocket kits that we have purchased from other parties.

AlectroSpace currently has two primary launch sites in the Pacific Northwest. The first is a local baseball field; it is suitable for suborbital launches up to 300 meters. AlectroSpace takes great care to prevent rockets landing on a nearby school rooftop.

The second launch site is a field near Sheridan, Oregon; overseen by the OregonRocketry group, this site can accommodate high-power flights to altitudes of more than 1500 meters. This is where we achieved our Level-1 HPR certification in 2023! The site is active for only three days a year, in the month of September.
