My research interests lie in dynamical aspects of algebraic combinatorics. I am very interested in the phenomenon of homomesy, which occurs when a combinatorial statistic has the same average value over any orbit of an operator, and in questions concerning order and orbit structure of maps on combinatorial structures. My favorite operator to consider is rowmotion, which acts on order ideals of a poset by sending an ideal to the ideal generated by the minimal elements of its complement.
