Splendid farmhouse from the 18th century, Domaine de la Tour is now a hotel in the quite country side near Falaise, a medieval city of Normandy.

The accomodation and food are included. There is also a jacuzzi, but it costs 20€ per hour (don't forget your swimming suit and the change!).

The Domaine de la Tour is a bit far away from the main city (30 minutes from Caen).

A bus will leave the train station of Caen to the conference place on Sunday 19th, 6pm. The return is planned for Friday 24th, 2pm (arrival in Caen). Please adapt your trip to this timetable. (For example, if you wish to leave by plane from a Paris airport, you should consider a flight leaving after 18pm.)

The other options are limited: cab (around 50€ from Caen), or your own car.

Wednesday afternoon, it's time to go back to Middle Ages! We are going to visit the Château de Falaise.

After a visit of the castle in augmented reality (with a treasure hunt), attendees will have the possibility to play medieval games. Weather permitting, attendees (who want it) will venture to try an old sport: la soule, an ancestor of soccer and rugby.
