Look Out For Letting Rooms - Coming Soon Exclusively on Booking.com
Looking for a proper local? Kevin and Lynda have created just that here at The Swan. Think warm smiles, local ales that’ll make you feel right at home, and a couple of jukeboxes that are always ready for a good time! We are proud to be a traditional pub, so we dont offer food but check out our events for our pizza nights in collaboration with Woodyard Pizza
Kevin and Lynda are passionate about supporting our local breweries, so expect a good, honest pint.
Got a tune that gets you going? Chances are, it's on our jukebox. It’s always ready for a singalong. Ones a 1961 Wurlitzer and the other a 1964 Rock-ola!
You'll feel right at home the moment you walk in. Expect a warm welcome and a good chat.
These days, why would you go to a pub when it doesn't do food? The only thing that would encourage me to do so is if it was a very good pub. Luckily, this is a GREAT pub-I absolutely love it.
It's got owners who immediately make you feel at home, a wonderful, welcoming, droll crowd of locals, lots of different entertainments (music, quizzes, various special events) and a characterful old building, lovingly restored and comfortably furnished. It's warm and lively -like the ideal of the perfect English village pub.
On occasion, they guest some excellent local food-but it doesn't take that to bring people over the threshold. It's ALWAYS a pub well worth visiting.

We were invited by friends to join them in the Swan on a Saturday night.
The greeting by the Landlord/Host was really lovely. The 'vibe' was such that you immediately felt like you were very much welcomed and belonged there. It made me want to live in the village. If you do live there, support this pub!
After a few hours spent in the pub, it's clear that it's a super friendly village pub that welcomes 'newcomers'.

The most friendliest host's you will ever find. Great atmosphere. Beautifully decorated with a lovely beer garden. Amazing music nights what more could you want.

Visited a friend in the area, travelled down from Liverpool. Good beer friendly atmosphere, everyone spoke to us and made us feel at home.
