Cloudpaw is a mobile game developed and operated by Aldehyde Studios, an independent developer based in North Macedonia.
This Privacy Policy explains how Cloudpaw and the third-party services included in the game handle information. For questions or privacy requests, contact Aldehyde Studios at aldehydestudios@gmail.com.
Cloudpaw stores information locally on your device so the game can function and preserve progress. This may include:
Game progress, previous-run distance, and high scores
Virtual currency balances
Owned and equipped cosmetics and perks
Power-up upgrades, daily quests, daily rewards, and Lucky Wheel state
Local achievement-progress counters
Purchase entitlements and one-way cryptographic fingerprints used to prevent duplicate purchase fulfilment
Audio, vibration, tilt sensitivity, notification preferences, and other settings
A general age category
Tutorial and gameplay state
Cloudpaw asks users to select one of three general age categories: 12 or younger, 13–17, or 18 or older. Cloudpaw does not request or store an exact age or date of birth.
The selected category is stored locally and used to apply age-appropriate privacy, consent, advertising, and service treatment. Users whose age is unknown receive the most privacy-protective treatment.
This locally stored gameplay and age-category information is not transmitted directly to Aldehyde Studios. It remains on the device until removed through Cloudpaw’s reset controls, Android’s application-storage settings, or by uninstalling the game.
Some achievement progress may be transmitted to Google Play Games Services when the player uses a Play Games profile, as explained below.
Cloudpaw uses Google AdMob to provide optional rewarded advertisements and automatic interstitial advertisements at natural breaks between runs. Rewarded advertisements are shown only after the user explicitly chooses to watch one.
An interstitial advertisement may be shown after every third finalised loss to players who have not made a real-money purchase. Any successfully verified purchase permanently removes automatic interstitial advertisements for that local player. Optional rewarded advertisements remain available.
Cloudpaw uses Google’s User Messaging Platform, or UMP, to request consent and provide privacy choices where required. Where Google reports that privacy options are required, users can reopen them through the Ad Privacy control in Cloudpaw’s Settings screen.
Android users can also reset or delete their advertising identifier through their device’s privacy settings.
The Google Mobile Ads SDK may automatically collect or share the following categories of information for advertising, analytics, security, and fraud prevention:
An IP address, which may be used to estimate approximate location
App and advertisement interactions, such as app launches, taps, and video views
Diagnostic information, such as app launch time, hang rate, and energy usage
Device and other identifiers, which may include the Android advertising ID, app set ID, and other applicable identifiers
Google states that this information is encrypted in transit. Google and the advertising partners identified through Google’s consent interface process this information under their own privacy terms and the choices available to the user.
For more information, see the Google Privacy Policy:

Cloudpaw uses Google Play Games Services on supported Android devices to provide platform authentication and achievements.
Play Games authentication is separate from a Cloudpaw account. Cloudpaw does not currently create or maintain its own user accounts. Players can continue playing with locally stored progress even if Play Games authentication is unavailable or unsuccessful.
After Cloudpaw’s neutral age screen has been completed, Play Games Services may attempt to authenticate the Google Play Games profile selected on the device. Existing players may be authenticated automatically. Players without a Play Games profile may be offered the opportunity to create one through Google’s interface.
When Play Games Services is used, Google may process:
Play Games gamer identity, such as a gamertag and avatar
Achievement progress and unlocked achievements
Gameplay actions necessary to calculate achievement progress
Analytics information used to improve Play Games Services
Diagnostic information used to maintain service stability
Cloudpaw does not use Play Games Services to request the player’s email address, Google Account password, contacts, precise location, or payment-card information.
Google states that Play Games Services encrypts collected information in transit using HTTPS. Information handled by Play Games Services is governed by the Google Privacy Policy and the privacy controls associated with the player’s Google and Play Games profiles.
Players can manage or delete Play Games information through their Play Games profile or Google Account controls.
Cloudpaw does not currently use the Play Games Saved Games feature. Gameplay balances, inventory, settings, and full save data remain stored locally until a separately tested cloud-recovery system is introduced.
For more information, see Google’s Play Games Services data disclosure:
https://developer.android.com/games/pgs/data-collection
Cloudpaw offers optional purchases of virtual currency, cosmetic content, and permanent perk entitlements through Google Play Billing. Google Play processes the payment transaction.
Aldehyde Studios does not receive or store a user’s credit-card number, bank-account details, or Google Account password.
Cloudpaw receives limited purchase information from Google Play, such as the product identifier, purchase state, and purchase token. This information is used to:
Deliver purchased content
Prevent duplicate fulfilment
Restore eligible permanent purchases
Handle pending, cancelled, or refunded transactions
Cloudpaw stores only a one-way SHA-256 fingerprint of a fulfilled purchase token in its local save. It does not retain the raw token locally after fulfilment.
Google may retain transaction and purchase-history information according to the Google Privacy Policy and applicable Google Play terms.
Purchases are optional and are not required to play Cloudpaw. Purchased virtual currency and other local purchase state may be lost if local application data is cleared unless the item is eligible for restoration through Google Play.
Cloudpaw is intended for a mixed audience that includes children.
Cloudpaw does not ask children to provide their legal name, email address, exact date of birth, precise location, phone number, contacts, photographs, or similar directly identifying information.
For users who select 12 or younger, and for users whose age is missing or invalid, Cloudpaw marks advertising requests as child-directed and under the age of consent. Users who select 13–17 receive conservative under-age advertising treatment.
The initial all-ages release:
Uses a maximum G advertisement-content rating
Uses the Google AdMob SDK without additional mediation networks
Does not request personalised advertising for child users
Applies the most privacy-protective treatment when age information is unavailable
Google and its services may still process limited device, interaction, diagnostic, network, gamer-profile, and achievement information as necessary to provide age-appropriate services, contextual advertisements, performance measurement, security, and fraud prevention.
A child’s ability to use a Google Play Games profile may also be controlled by their parent, guardian, supervised Google Account, Family Link settings, and Google’s applicable age requirements.
Parents or guardians may contact aldehydestudios@gmail.com with questions or privacy requests concerning a child.
Cloudpaw uses device motion sensors for tilt-based controls. Motion readings are used during gameplay on the device and are not stored or transmitted to Aldehyde Studios.
Cloudpaw may also use:
Device vibration
Audio playback and audio-focus features
Optional local notifications
Daily reminders are scheduled locally after the user enables them. Cloudpaw does not use remote push messaging for these reminders.
Cloudpaw does not currently include Firebase Analytics or another developer-operated analytics service.
Google AdMob and Google Play Games Services may process limited analytics and diagnostic information as described in this policy.
Cloudpaw does not currently operate a cloud-save server or transmit the player’s complete local save to Aldehyde Studios.
Aldehyde Studios does not sell personal information.
Information may be transmitted to Google and its disclosed partners only as described in this policy for:
Advertising and consent
Google Play Games authentication and achievements
Purchase processing
Analytics and diagnostics
Security, compliance, and fraud prevention
Aldehyde Studios does not currently operate a server that receives Cloudpaw’s local gameplay save or general age category.
Google Play may also independently process information when users download, install, update, review, authenticate, earn achievements, or purchase content in Cloudpaw. Google’s handling of that information is governed by the Google Privacy Policy and applicable Google Play terms.
Cloudpaw’s locally stored information remains on the device until it is removed. To delete this information, users can:
Use Cloudpaw’s available reset controls.
Clear Cloudpaw’s storage through Android’s application settings.
Uninstall Cloudpaw.
These actions delete locally stored gameplay progress, virtual currency balances, owned and equipped content, settings, age category, local achievement counters, and locally stored purchase-entitlement records. Information already processed by Google is not deleted by clearing Cloudpaw’s local storage.
To delete Google Play Games information associated with Cloudpaw, including the player’s gamer identity connection and achievement data, users can use the deletion controls in their Google Play Games profile or Google Account. Google determines the retention and deletion of this information under its own policies.
Advertising and diagnostic information processed by Google can be managed through the user’s Google Account, Play Games profile, Android privacy settings, advertising settings, and Cloudpaw’s Ad Privacy control where available.
Google Play may retain transaction records when required for payment processing, accounting, fraud prevention, legal compliance, refunds, or dispute resolution. Aldehyde Studios cannot delete records controlled solely by Google.
Users or their parent or guardian may request assistance by emailing aldehydestudios@gmail.com with the subject “Cloudpaw Data Deletion Request.” The request should identify the type of Cloudpaw-related information they want deleted. Do not include passwords, payment-card information, or other unnecessary sensitive information.
Aldehyde Studios will respond to valid deletion requests within 30 days. Cloudpaw currently has no developer-operated account database or cloud-save server. If Aldehyde Studios does not possess the requested information because it is held solely by Google or stored only on the user’s device, the response will explain the appropriate device or Google deletion controls.
Aldehyde Studios limits its own data handling to what is necessary for Cloudpaw to function. Cloudpaw’s complete gameplay save and selected age category remain local to the device.
Google states that the network transmissions described in this policy use encryption in transit, including HTTPS or Transport Layer Security where applicable.
No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure. If Cloudpaw introduces developer-operated online services in the future, reasonable technical and organisational safeguards will be implemented and this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly.
This Privacy Policy may be updated when Cloudpaw’s features, services, legal requirements, or data practices change.
Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date on this page. Users should review this policy periodically.
