Meet Our Leaders

Pastor Leroy Theard Jr.

Pastor Theard was born and raised in New Orleans. He and his wife,

Co-Pastor Lisa Theard, have been married or 27 years and have four children, Leroy III, Lance, Langston, and Logan Theard.

Prior to founding Abundant Life Church, Pastor Theard was a member of the Full Gospel Church of God in Christ under the leadership of Bishop Charles E. Brown. In his early years of ministry he served as Assistant Pastor, Youth Pastor, Member of the Board of Executives, Church School Instructor, and Lay member for a period of seven years.

Adhering to the voice of God, He established Abundant Life Church Full Gospel Ministry on February 28, 1994. Since it's foundation, Abundant Life Church has seen its membership grow from 14 members to just over 400.

Co-Pastor Lisa Theard

First Lady Lisa Theard is the co-founder of Abundant Life Church.

She is the anointed leader of the ALC Women of Substances

Ministry. She is the mother of four beautiful and talented children;

Leroy III, Lance, Langston, and Logan Theard. She is also an entrepreneur and Formerly the Founding Director of L & L Preschool Learning Center located in New Orleans East.

Lady Theard, as she is also called, is a woman filled with the spirit,

wisdom, character, and anointing of God. A woman who understands her mission and walks in the authority of Jesus Christ

and the power of the Holy Ghost.
