Terms of Service — Alchemy Codex

By downloading, installing, or using Alchemy Codex ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. The App
Alchemy Codex is a single-player discovery and combination game. Features include gameplay progression, achievements, optional cloud save via your Google Account, and optional in-app purchases.
2. In-App Purchases
The App offers optional in-app purchases (e.g. hint packs, unlimited hints, a supporter pack) for virtual/digital content. All purchases are:
- Processed entirely through Google Play Billing — we never see or store your payment details.
- For digital items with no cash value, not redeemable or transferable for real currency.
- Subject to Google Play's own refund policy; refund requests should be made through Google Play, not the developer directly.
3. Ads
The App may display rewarded video ads via Google AdMob in exchange for in-game rewards (e.g. hint tokens). Ad delivery and any related data use is governed by our Privacy Policy (https://sites.google.com/view/alchemy-codex-privacy-policy/home) and Google's own policies.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to reverse-engineer, decompile, or redistribute the App outside of official app stores, or use it in any way that violates applicable law.
5. Intellectual Property
All content, artwork, and code in the App are owned by the developer (or licensed appropriately) and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Your purchases grant a personal, non-transferable license to use the corresponding in-app content — not ownership of it.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every device.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.
8. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
