Thank you for your interest in a philanthropic grant from Albion-Grundlemere! We are delighted to support initiatives that align with our mission of cultivating community and growth through gardening.
To apply for a one-time gardening grant* of up to £5,000 GBP, submit a comprehensive application that includes the following information:
Applicant Contact Information: Full Name, email address, phone number, organization name and address, if any.
About Your Organization (or You, If Applicable): Provide a brief overview of you and/or your organization's history with gardening. Include your organization's official registration or charitable status (if applicable). Please note that individuals and organizations without official registration or charitable status are not disqualified from application or reward. We ask this as part of our due diligence in ensuring rewards serve legitimate needs.
Your or Your Organization's Mission: Provide a brief description of you or your organization's core mission and purpose as they relate to Albion-Grundlemere's.
Your or Your Organization's Key Activities: Describe the primary activities and programs you and/or your organization currently engage in, and explain how gardening either already fits into those activities, or, if they don't currently, how you envision gardening fitting into your key activities.
Proposed Initiative/Activity: Clearly, and in as much detail as possible, outline the specific initiative or activity for which you are seeking funding. Explain how this initiative aligns with both one or more of Albion-Grundlemere's key gardening initiatives (e.g., Therapeutic and Rehabilitation Gardening, Community Gardening, School Gardening, etc.).
Anticipated Benefit: Describe in as much detail as possible the desired and anticipated impact and benefits of your initiative. Who or what will be the recipient of your proposed activities? How will they benefit from your work?
Funding Request and Cost Breakdown: State the exact amount of money you are requesting, up to a maximum of £5,000 GBP. Also provide a detailed, itemized breakdown of how the requested funds will be used. Be as specific as possible (e.g., 'Seeds: £150,' 'Raised Garden Bed Materials: £500,' 'Horticultural Therapist Fees: £2,000').
Please provide as much detail as reasonably possible for your circumstances. For example, a child applying for a grant to help plant a succulent bed in their local park will not be rejected because he or she did not produce a grant application at the level of national nonprofit organizations.
Copy and paste the text of your completed grant application in the application box below. Applications and awards are generally processed in the order they are received. Notification of selection is generally made within 30 days of application, and payment made within an additional 30-60 days of award notification.
We look forward to reviewing your proposal and learning how we can help you cultivate positive change in your community!
