I am a tenure-track researcher at the Swiss AI lab IDSIA USI-SUPSI , in Lugano (CH),  where I am a member of the Responsabile AI and Society research area.

My research spans through a variety of technical and philosophical topics, including:

• Causal and Concept-Based Methods in Explainable Artificial Intelligence;

• Responsible Artificial Intelligence in Biomedicine and Education;

• Metaphysics and Epistemology of Machine Learning;

• Probabilistic Model Checking for the analysis of Trustworthy AI systems;
