Hello,

I am a Researcher with the Trustworthy Autonomous Systems Group at the Swiss AI lab IDSIA USI-SUPSI , in Lugano (CH),  and PostDoctoral Research Fellow with the Intelligent Systems Ethics Group at EPFL in Lausanne (CH). I also collaborate as an Adjunct Research Fellow with the Institut für Geschichte und Ethik der Medizin at TUM (Munich, Germany).

I obtained my PhD at the Logic, Uncertainty, Computation and Information Lab, Department of Philosophy, University of Milan (Italy), with a thesis on Probabilistic Model Checking with Markov Models Semantics .

My research spans through a variety of technical and philosophical topics, including:

• Causal and Counterfactual Methods in Explainable Artificial Intelligence;

• Probabilistic Model Checking for the analysis of Trustworthy AI systems;

• Metaphysics and Epistemology of Machine Learning

• Ethical and Social Dimensions of Artificial Intelligence
