Alberto M. Burgos-Rivera

Thank you for visiting my website! My name is Alberto M. Burgos-Rivera and I am a Ph.D. Candidate in the Department of Political Science at the University of Colorado, Boulder. My research focuses on comparative political behavior; more specifically, I study immigration attitudes, language politics, and voting behavior in the context of stateless nations. My work has been published in the Islands Studies Journal. I have also been a doctoral visiting fellow at Concordia University's Immigration Research Initiative (IRI)

I received my MA in Political Science from the University of Colorado, Boulder. Prior to this, I received my MA in European Union Studies from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign; and my BA in Political Science from the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras.
