I am currently a Term Assistant Professor in the Department of Statistics at Columbia University. In 2023, I received my PhD from the University of Toulouse III and the University of Valladolid, under the supervision of Jean-Michel Loubes (University of Toulouse III) and Eustasio del Barrio (University of Valladolid).
I am a mathematician from Valladolid, Spain, with a diverse set of research interests. My work primarily focuses on optimal transport, non-parametric statistics, fairness in artificial intelligence, robustness, kernel methods, and optimization. I am dedicated to exploring both the theoretical foundations and practical applications of these areas.
