親愛的家長、同學：

是日立春，為廿四節氣之首。喜歡研究生肖運程的人視此日為每個生肖年份的開始，所以在今天2月4日至2025年2月2日（明年2月3日立春）出生的人都是龍寶寶！除此之外，大家都會在2月10日農曆正月初一迎接龍年的到來。

我們學校的新春聯歡活動將在2月17日上午十時，由卡城精武體育會的舞獅表演開始，當中更有我們學校的同學參與。請家長們一如平日上課時間帶孩子們到校，以便各班準備其表演的節目。歡迎大家當天穿著傳統服飾，增添節日色彩。附上慶祝活動的邀請卡，請廣傳親友。

Dear ACWS Families,

Happy Sunday! 

Today (February 4th) is the first of the twenty-four solar-terms of this year: Lichun (Laap-chun in Cantonese), Start of Spring. People who are keen on zodiac fortune telling consider this day as the first day of the zodiac year. February 3rd, 2025 will be the next Lichun. In other words, anyone born between today and February 2nd, 2025 is a baby Dragon! Nonetheless, the Year of the Dragon is arriving on February 10th, the first day of the first lunar month.

On the 17th,  members from Jing Wo Cultural Association and our students will kick off the celebrations at 10:00 am with a lion dance. Please drop off your children at regular school hours so teachers can do last minute rehearsal with their class performance. Students are encouraged to wear traditional clothing or clothing in bright colours. Attached is an invitation to our festive event, please share this invitation to family members and friends.
