希望大家都過了一個愉快的暑假，並順利踏入新的學年。我謹代表學校誠摯歡迎所有同學、家長和老師。以下是關於開學準備的相關資訊：

開學日安排

新學年將於9月12日上午9:15正式開始，上課時間為上午 9:15 至中午 12:15。若您是新生家長，請注意我們在 G. P. Vanier School 上課，學校停車場提供免費停車。抵達後，請在二樓體育館集合。在簡短的介紹後，各班老師會帶領自班學生前往教室。

學習用品

學校將提供課本和作業本，請引導孩子妥善愛護；如有遺失或損壞需要補發，須支付額外費用。10:30-10:45 是課間休息時間，您可為孩子準備健康的點心帶到學校，並請確保他們的書包裡備有鉛筆與橡皮擦。

學校通訊

電子郵件是我們最主要的聯絡方式。班主任將在數日內寄出自我介紹信，並會定期發送班級教學報告。每月的學校通訊亦會透過電子郵件發送並同步上傳至學校網站。如果您希望領取學校行事曆或通訊的打印版，我們也很樂意為您提供。

付款方式

除了現金和支票外，我們目前已開通 Interac e-Transfer 電子轉帳服務。轉帳電子郵件地址為：info@albertachungwahschool.ca 

家長活動

除學校舉辦活動或場地已被其他單位預約的時間外，學校體育館開放供家長進行體育活動。若報名踴躍，我們亦可規劃開設成人課程，如國語、書法、太極或其他興趣班。

Dear ACWS Families,

I would like to extend my warmest welcome to all of our students, parents and teachers. I hope you all had a wonderful summer and a smooth start to the new school year. Below is some important information as we prepare for the start of school:

First Day of School

Our school year officially starts on September 12 at 9:15 am. School hours are 9:15-12:15. If you are new to our school, please note that our classes are held at G. P. Vanier School. Free parking is available in the school parking lot. Upon arrival, please proceed to the gym on the 2nd floor. We will have a brief introduction before teachers lead students to their respective classrooms.

What to Bring

Please ensure your child has pencils and erasers in their backpacks. The school will provide textbooks and workbooks. Please encourage your child to take good care of these materials, as replacement fees may apply if they are lost or damaged. There is a 15-minute recess at 10:30, and you are welcome to prepare a healthy snack for your child.

School Communication 

Our primary method of communication is email. Your child's teacher will send an introductory letter in the coming days, followed by regular class updates throughout the school year. Monthly newsletters will be sent via email and posted on our school website as well. If you prefer hard copies of the school calendar or newsletters, please let us know and we will be happy to provide them.

Payment Options

In addition to cash and cheques, we now accept Interac e-Transfers. The email address is info@albertachungwahschool.ca.

Adult Activities

The school gym is available for parent sports activities, except on event days or when it has been booked by other parties. If there is sufficient interest, we may also offer adult classes, such as Mandarin, Chinese calligraphy, Tai-chi, or other activities.
