1997-1999, God took William to work at Israel and became a Christian. After that, he followed missionaries who were from North America to spread the gospel to the Chinese workers in Israel. At that time, God put a dream in William's heart: "build a place, Let brother and sisters live together." similar as Kibbutz in Israel.
July 2004, William family arrived at Calgary, AB. Canada. and the whole application process was only 6 months. The immigration process was frozen when they handed on their application to Canada immigration agency.
May 2016, William and Lu found a farm in Vancouver Island, and bought it for missionary purpose.

August 2018, During the Western Canada Christian Mandarin Conference. While William and Lu were taking a walk at the campus. They met a couple (H/L) and shared their dreams. H/L said: they dreamed to have a Christian home on Vancouver Island, where believers can practice spiritually and live. And specifically, they mentioned: the area is about 40 acres. His talking shocked the William and Lu. Because the picture that they're describing is exactly the same as the land that William just bought.
The land is there, and will be build a christian village. but how to start? God has his plan:
May 2018
God help William and Lu bought a home in Alberni. It is only 5 minutes drive to the farm.
September 2018 William's daughter was admitted to the University of British Columbia, which is close to the new home.
December 2019
William couple sold their Calgary home in a week while the market was super slow.
January.9th. 2020
on the home possession day, William family drove to Vancouver Island new home on snow.
Mar. 2020, COVID-19 broke out in Canada. Vancouver Island became the safe heaven comparing with the mainland.
Apr. 2020, God guided a church sister(V) to work in Alberni Valley. And build the first vegetable cultivation in village with the help of her parents and church brother and sisters.
Aug. 2020, a family (L.Z) who are from the Calgary church bought a beautiful home in Alberni.
Sept. 2020, another church couple (H.N) bought a home and moved to Alberni.
Oct. 2020, the Alberni Christian Retreat Society (ACRS) was officially registered.
Nov. 2020, ACRS received the first donation.
Jul.19th.2021 Pastor Wang lead us to have the first worship on the land.
Jul.29th.2021 Sister Su had her baptism by the holy spirit on land.
Feb.2022. Started to support Nanaimo Baptism Church in sermon and New Life Bible Study Program.
Dec.2022. William quitted his professional work, full time on village building.
Jul.9th.2023 "Port Alberni Extension" of Saddleback Church started at William's home.
Dec.27th.2024. Brother David point that we need to register a farm first, stay with the original vision, build a village that mostly like Kitbuz.
