We are a group of birdwatching enthusiasts who meet on a regular basis to observe the birds of our region. We are based in Albany on the South Coast of Western Australia. We are also a regional group of BirdLife Western Australia.
We meet on the second Tuesday of each month. Our half-day excursions generally take place between Denmark, Wellstead and the Stirling Range. Additional excursions are scheduled on weekends in spring.
Anyone who is interested in birds is welcome to join our outings. Don't worry if you are new to bird watching. We are more than happy to help you learn to identify our birds. If you don't own a pair of binoculars, please contact us prior to the outing and we will bring along a spare pair.

Tuesday,14 October - Stirling Range
We will meet at 9:00 am at the parking area at the junction of Chester Pass / Bluff Knoll Rds.
For those of you who wish to carpool, we will meet at 8am at the
Lower King Bridge parking area outside Coraki Cottages.

We will meet at 8:30am at the parking area on the Mira Mar side of the lake
for our 2-hour bird walk around the lake.
Aussie Bird Count
This year the annual Aussie Bird Count will take place from 20-26 October.
You can register here if you want to take part in Australia's biggest citizen science event.
