About Me
My name is Alayna Holmes, and I am 17 years old. I am from Crescent, Georgia, but I moved to Brunswick about two and a half years ago. I am a senior in high school, and I attend Brunswick High. I am an honors student. I have been in gifted (advanced/honors) classes since the 3rd grade.
When I graduate high school, I want to attend Middle Georgia University in Macon, Georgia. I want to become a Psychiatric Nurse. I plan on going for my RN, work two years, and then go back for my NP(nurse practitioner).
Some hobbies I have are traveling and going to water and adventure parks. I love spending time with family and friends. I love living a little wild at times. My favorite colors are black, orange, and cyan.

On my site you will see four projects. For project 1, I analyzed the rhetorical effects of my own personal identity. In project 2, I conducted a rhetorical analysis on an article that was trying to persuade people that COVID would not magically disappear when the new year comes in. To see for yourself click on the tab above. Project 3 is the most interesting. It was about the sexualization of women in ads, music videos, etc. I choose a Carl Jr ad, and it was very intriguing. To watch the video, and read my thoughts on it go above and click on the tab that says Project 3. I am currently still working on project 4, so at the moment there is nothing there. When I upload the material, I will update this part of my site.
