The Alaska WIFFLE® Ball League is the first of its kind, a league built in the Last Frontier, by players who love the game and refuse to let geography, weather, or limits define what’s possible.
What started as small pickup games in the July of 2021 between 3 siblings and their father has grown into a semi-pro league with six teams, real rivalries, passionate fans, sponsors, and recognition on the Major League Wiffle Ball. Every season is proof that something special can be built anywhere, even in Alaska.
Our games are played under the Alaskan Midnight Sun, where summer nights never end, and in below-zero temperatures, in the midst of snow or sleet. Alaska forces you to adapt, and that mentality is show in our league. Every pitch and swing reflects the heart that comes from playing the game in conditions most people wouldn’t set foot in.
The league is headlined by the Big Lake Wolfpack, the five-time defending champions, led by league commissioner Hunter Slabinski. The Wolfpack have become a dynasty, the team everyone challenges, and measures themselves against.
The Denali Dingers, led by Greyson Foreman, represent the future of the league. They’re energetic, dangerous, and constantly improving. This is a team that fans know are only getting better.
The Palmer Pilots, captained by Cason Stafford, alongside his brother Landon, are known for smart defense, speed, and relentless baserunning. While postseason success has been lacking, their consistency and past victories have left a permanent mark on the league.
The Anchorage Eagles, captained by Skylar Slabinski, are one of the league’s most emotional and compelling teams. Year after year they’ve been right on the edge of a championship, and their journey has made them impossible to overlook.
The Meadow Lakes Magpies, led by Kaylynn Slabinski, bring a unique style of play that keeps opponents guessing and fans entertained. They play the game their way, and that identity is what makes them special.
The Mountain Bikers, captained by Landry Foreman, bring the fun, the comedy, and the loose energy that keeps the league grounded. They remind everyone that while we compete hard, WIFFLE® is still about joy and community.
The Alaska WIFFLE® Ball League isn’t just about championships. It’s about community, growth, and giving people a place to belong. We host public tournaments during the summer, welcoming players of all backgrounds and skill levels to experience Alaska WIFFLE® firsthand.
Most importantly, we keep Jesus at the center of everything we do. Faith, respect, and sportsmanship guide how we play, compete, and treat one another. Win or lose, that foundation will never change.
We’re still growing. More tournaments. Bigger competition. Better production. Stronger rivalries. But no matter how big we get, we’ll always remember where we started, just a family playing WIFFLE® at their dry cabin in Alaska, with big dreams and hopes for the future of what is now the biggest WIFFLE® Ball prescence in Alaska.
This is Alaska WIFFLE®.
Do You Believe It?
