About the Service:Alaska (AK) Physical Therapist Practice Course

The Alaska (AK) Physical Therapist Practice Course is a mandatory course for the initial licensure of physical therapists in the state of Alaska. The course was developed by the Alaska Board of Physical Therapy Examiners and is an online course that covers topics such as anatomy and physiology, pathophysiology, evaluation and diagnosis, treatment techniques and treatment planning. In addition to the Alaska (AK) Physical Therapist Practice Course, students must complete an internship under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist in order to be eligible for licensure.
